The mission aims to bring 20 lakh acres of land under oil palm cultivation. Telangana today stands top in the production of oilseeds and oil palm.
The state has attracted significant capital investments from marquee names of the consumer sector.
Telangana is a major producer of diversified oilseed crops like cottonseed, groundnut, soybean, etc. The state is rightfully poised to become the new hub for oilseeds in India.
